Savannah College of Art and Design

September 2013 - June 2017

I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interactive Design and Game Development with a concentration in Game Development from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.

Work Experience

Pajama Games

Lead Programmer - Star Tempest 

January 2018 - Present

Star Tempest is a top-down twin-stick shooter game set in space that I am currently working on with two other alumni SCAD students. The player will have access to a wide array of ships to pilot along with upgrades for each ship. They will be tasked with flying around the galaxy, destroying pirates, saving space stations, and fighting bosses. The game is currently in very early alpha and is not available for download at this time.

Lead Level Designer - Abyssal Zone

November 2017 - November 2017

This game was created by myself and 3 other developers for the UE4 Epic MegaJam from November 2, 2017 to November 9, 2017. I was the lead level designer and I built the main menu/tutorial level along with the main level the game takes place in. I also assisted with the game design and creation of some assets and event scripting. Our studio name is created from the first initial of each team member: Gost0r, Rhobi, Tyler, and Ninjin42 plus the word Studio. 

Motor Boar Games

Lead Level Designer - Centauri

January 2017 - June 2017

I was the lead level designer for an online 1v1 FPS/Platformer in VR called Centauri created by Motor Boar Games, a 4 person studio. I am responsible for all the level designs and implementing them in engine. I also assisted with scripting some gameplay features and with lighting the levels as well. Centauri was awarded Game of the Year for Virtual Reality from The Rookies in 2017. 

Mystery Shark Studio

Lead Programmer - Burger Blaster

March 2016 - May 2016

I was the lead programmer for a burger stacking strategy game called Burger Blaster developed by myself and 5 other team members in 10 weeks. I also assisted with level design and UI scripting.

Technical Artist - Plague Doctor's Study

January 2016 - March 2016

This was a solo project where I learned how to create particle systems in Unreal Engine 4. I also created a dynamic material transition on a plague doctor's mask and built a small scene around showing it off.

Environment Artist - The Bar

January 2016 - March 2016

This was a solo project where I designed and created a small bar scene in Unreal Engine 4. I was responsible for designing, modeling, texturing, and lighting the scene.
